Top 25 Companies for Work-Life Balance 2012

The guys at Glassdoor have been busting their coconuts over the last couple of months as they experience their most unprecedented level of growth ever but it hasn’t stopped them from producing some great research, stats and infographics.
This morning they have released the 2nd annual list of the Top 25 Companies in the world (well, really the US considering that 80% of their current audience is Stateside) for Work-Life Balance. This is no flippant survey mind you, it’s based on 385,000 surveys conducted by employees on Glassdoor.com so it suffices to say that it’s probably pretty accurate!
Here’s what Glassdoor had to say about the winners:
MITRE and North Highland received the highest work-life balance rating (4.5 on a 5-point scale) from its employees over the past year. MITRE employees comment on the high value the company places on work-life balance as shown through flexible schedules, generous paid time off and other great perks like an on-site cafeteria and gym. North Highland employees speak to the company’s family-friendly work environment. This is also the second year that MITRE as well as eight other companies make Glassdoor’s Top Companies for Work-Life Balance list. Other companies making this list again include Agilent Technologies, SAS Institute, National Instruments, FactSet, United Space Alliance, Susquehanna International Group, Slalom Consulting and Morningstar.
